Wells Fargo’s Career Development Plan

A career development plan will be implemented based on a necessary restructure of the Workforce Management team at Wells Fargo Advisors. The team will take on new responsibilities that require the hiring of additional personnel and will require training for new and current employees. This career development proposal has been created to ensure that all aspects of the change are successfully created and implemented. The proposal will include information pertaining to job description and qualifications for five new positions including one first-level management position. The proposal will also include methods for appraising team performance, challenges of the team performance evaluation, the new training program, incentives and benefits packages, strategies for managing employees, and a compensation plan. The proposal will be broken down into three parts including in-depth details about the career plan implementation.

Job Analysis and Selection

With the changes taking place at Wells Fargo Advisors, the duties and obligations of its Workforce Management team will also change. Current duties of the workforce management team include basic scheduling, forecasting, and training schedule suggestions. The restructure of the workforce management team will include detailed intraday reporting based on of forecasting, scheduling based on of intraday reporting, forced training schedules instead of suggested, shift bidding, and new system updates to improve employee schedule monitoring. This restructure will clearly define the Workforce Management team’s goals. Because of the restructure five new positions including one first-level management position will be created. The current duties and obligations of the Workforce Management team will change as well.
