Suitable Parent Recommendation
Children should have unlimited access to role models - people who can inspire and motivate them. A parent or parent figure is someone who can handle the responsibility of providing for a child. He or she must be accessible, reliable and unconditionally caring. There are salient attributes a parent must possess. These are, but not limited to, unconditionally loving and affectionate, being a good listener, encouraging, and the willingness to provide safe haven for a child. A parent is someone a child can look up to. A very close friend of mine, Alyssa Dickson, possesses these attributes and has demonstrated through various conducts the ability to be a suitable parent.
Throughout her childhood and even now in her career, Alyssa has expressed love and affection towards her siblings, colleagues and everyone she has ever met. Being the first child of her parents, and coming from a reputable family, Alyssa constantly shows compassion and love towards everyone in her sphere of contact. When Alyssa’s mother adopted a third world country child few years after she was born, no one thought she would comprehend and accept the new child like one of her own siblings. To everyone’s amazement, Alyssa treated and received the new child, Arsene, like one of her own and it was manifested for all to see the love and kindness she showed towards Arsene. She demonstrated a reasonable level of maturity at such tender age by accepting the new child whole heartedly. Not only did she demonstrate the ability to love unconditionally, she also demonstrated good listening skills in dealing with the new child.
In a home where children are being raised, it is without exclusion that the parent or caregiver establishes and outlines boundaries that enhance the safety of the child.
