Research Background

* Client wants to further penetrate OTC/consumer goods market by reintroducing one of its products, Antistax, a treatment for varicose veins, which was discontinued due to (insert reason here).

* The effectiveness of the active ingredients in the product have been already backed by extensive client-funded and independent research, all with similar findings.

* Product is positioned to have its regulatory label “No Approved Therapeutic Claims” removed, a change the clients believe will put Antistax back on the map.

Research Objectives

* This study should answer how well-received the product is by the respondents

* Researchers should also be able to quantify the level of acceptance of a product with a limiting regulatory label versus a product with none.

* Note that time constraints prohibit researchers from exploring consumer feedback on effectivity. As such, the researchers will focus on features that can be easily measured like packaging, product color, (ease of intake?), etc.

* It should also reveal the respondents’ purchase interest after the study

* Researchers should also be able to get possible supplementary improvements in the product that would make them buy it.

Respondents Qualifications

* 20-30 Males and Females, 20-75 years old

* With Chronic Venous Insufficiency Stage I or II (Widmer Classification)

* Metro Manila Residents
