Eating Instant Food Instead of Fresh Food

Eating is something you do at least three times a day. We live in a world that has a variety of food to choose from, and we are responsible for what we eat. While there are many kinds of food available, they can be separated into two major groups, instant food and fresh food. There are many similarities but also, numerous differences between the two such as their flavor, health benefits, and cost. The most notable difference between these can be their flavor.

The flavor of instant food and fresh food is different. How something tastes is a very important factor to consider when choosing a bite to eat. Fresh foods have a great flavor because they keep all their natural conditions. Instant meals, however, lack a lot of their flavor because there are some other chemical products added to preserve them. For example, canned food, such as canned fruit or fish, lack the natural savory flavors that you could taste when eating fresh food because the chemical components contained in the cans ruin the flavor. It is obvious that fresh foods will have a greater taste and flavor when consumed because of the way they have been prepared. When comparing both types of food, we notice another difference; health benefits.

Health is a factor that affects both instant and fresh foods. Instant foods lose most of the original nutrients when they are stored. To explain, they have to be tinned and stored with many conservatives and chemical factors that extend the shelf life and freshness of the food. It is apparent that it would be harmful to the health of one’s body if these types of meals are consumed too often. In contrast, fresh foods are picked daily to be a quality product. Many fruits and vegetables are picked on the day they are to be sold and then set on shelves to be bought but have a shorter shelf life than canned foods because there are no harsh chemicals.
