Uncle Tom’s Cabin was a great literary work that showed knowledge and understanding of the slavery period. It demonstrated how bad slavery was and the aspects of what a slave went through. Uncle Tom’s Cabin mainly impacted history by showing the importance of religious values, especially Christianity, the importance of hope and pride, and moral power in women. The book took aspects and showed the importance of them. For example, the book showed that hope and pride is the key to success because if the slaves didn’t have those aspects, they would’ve never had the courage to fight against the acts of slavery and their masters.

The book, Uncle Tom’s Cabin, impacted history by showing the importance religious values because of a difference of action. In the book, it was obvious that the less religious a person was, the more evil they were, and the more religious they were, the better the person was. The author clearly illustrated that the system of slavery and the moral code of Christianity opposed each other. Any person that was a Christian should’ve never tolerated slavery. In the Christian Holy Bible it says that you should love everybody, meaning that your skin color should’ve never mattered whether black or white. In the book, people who were more religious saw this concept and either tried to fight it or just opposed but they thought they were too weak to fight the whole system.

Uncle Tom’s Cabin also impacted history by showing people the importance of hope and pride. Without hope and pride slaves could probably would’ve never rebelled against their masters or they would’ve never looked forward to a brighter day. This book proved that hope and pride plays a great part in life because without it, certain things would not been possible. At the end of the book, Tom’s Cabin was used to symbolize when the slaves look at his cabin because Tom stood up for himself and his people, even though he was brutally beaten...
