COURSE PREREQUISITES: 54 hours including PSY 121 or SOC 150, or permission.
PURPOSE OF COURSE: MKT 350 is an upper division business course designed to introduce you to the fundamental principles of marketing, structure, functions and methods employed in discovering and translating consumer wants and needs into product and service specifications.
WRITTEN ASSIGNMENTS & QUIZZES: Reading assignments are expected to be completed before class. All assigned work is due at the beginning of the class on the dates assigned. No credit will be given for late work. Quizzes will be given periodically and may not be made-up.
EXAMS: There will four 100-point exams. (NO makeup exams will be given). Each exam may be reviewed up to one week after each test date.
A few friendly reminders regarding exams:
* You will not be allowed to return to the room if you leave at any point during the exam.
* Remember to turn in your exam at the end of the exam period. You may not keep your exam.
* A seating chart will be made and posted before each exam outside the classroom.
* You are not allowed to use notes, dictionaries or calculators during the exam.
* The penalty for not following these rules, as well as those on academic dishonesty and plagiarism, will be the final grade of XF.
