The main purpose of my work is to show that altruism is not incorporated into the biological nature of the organism. If we want to build a society based on cooperation among all individuals, people are needed to be tought to be generous and altruistic, because people are born selfish. If we understand to “logic” of our genes, then we can, to some extent disturb their intentions , which could never be done by any other type of living creatures.

I would also like to add that the idea of genetically inherited traits as something immutable is wrong. Our genes can tell us to be selfish, but we do not have to be selfish. That is why I outline the importance of education. The man is the only living creature, that is influenced by culture that is acquired as a result of accumulation and transmission to future generations. Before going further, we should define altruism. An individual is called altruistic if it increases the chance of survival and consequently the reproductive success of another individual at the expense of their own. Selfishness leads to the opposite result. Evolution works through natural selection and natural selection means the differential survival of the "fittest". But is it fittest individual, the fittest race, the fittest specie, or something else? Evolution operates at the lowest level and the basic unit of selection is not a group or even an individual. The basic unit is gene, a unit of heredity. To explain this statement we need to start with the origin of life.

It is quiet difficult to imagine original universe, but it would be logical to assume that it was relatively simple and consisted of disordered atoms. Darwin's theory of evolution is convincing because it shows how through natural selection individual atoms could be transformed into a man. Darwin's "survival of the fittest" - is actually a special case of a more general law of survival of a stable. All the objects we see around us are more or less stable atomic structures. Sometimes...
