Twenty Twelve

People suspect the world will end in 2012, but what if it happened earlier? It could happen within a year. Or maybe sooner. Would you be ready? What would you do? There has been evidence that it will happen as soon as January 1st 2011. I’ve been thinking about what I would want to do before the world ends, and here are some of my ideas.

Before doing anything else I would spend some quality time with my friends, because they are amazing and I would want to hang out with them and have fun. I would probably go to the movies and swimming and such with them as a group and then also spend time with each friend individually as well. Since I am assuming that everyone knows that the world is going to end, there wouldn’t need to be school, so that means that I would have full days to spend time with them before I travel.

After spending a good amount of time with my friends I would travel. I would go to Japan, Australia, and England as well as some other random places like Greece, Egypt, etc. I have always wanted to travel and these are the places I would want to go because they seem interesting and so far the farthest I have been away from home alone is Alberta. That is something I would want to do before I die. I would want to pick up some languages and learn some new skills as well.

Knowing myself I would get bored and come home to see my friends again. I just thought of something that I would do with them. We would probably make lists of a whole bunch of things that we would want to do before we die and we would see who could do the most things on their lists. I would do this because it would be a lot of fun to have a contest, but it would also be fun to do something unusual with my friends like … I don’t know, eat a whole ice cream cake or learn to ride a unicycle or something.

Hopefully the world doesn’t end in just over three months, because that would suck! But if it did these are the things that I find the most important and would...
