Project communication is vital to the success of all projects. Janet Clark is the PM for the Huntsville Plant Construction project. The three most common types of project meetings are status review, problem solving, and technical design review meetings. It is imperative for Miss Clarke to hold status review meetings on a regularly scheduled basis to inform, identify problems, and to identify action items. Project review meetings should be held weekly with the project team and less frequently with the customer preferably monthly. If a problem or potential problem is identified by an individual project team member then that person should get in touch with Miss Clark to hold a problem solving meeting. This meeting will take priority over a status review meeting to help expedite an unsuspected problem. The Hunstville construction project is considered a brand new project and the design of the building needs to meet all specifications and state codes. During the design phase of the project one or more technical design review meetings is essential to ensure that the customer agrees with or approves of the design approach developed by the project contractor.

Miss Clark might experience a communication conflict with Mr. Pokorski over staffing that might be needed to assist on the project team for the Hunstville project. Even though she is given the liberty by the board to get whatever she needs to make the project process successful she still needs to coordinate with Mr. Pokorski. By both individuals working together, they can allocate which personnel are best suited to get tasking accomplished in a timely manner.
