The Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) is one of initiative that will bring Malaysia to the new global information and communication technology (ICT) industry. The infrastructure emphasis on eco-friendly yet sophisticated urban structures for business, homes, education and recreation. Information technology and IT are widely used in business and the field of computing. People use the terms generically when referring to various kinds of computer related work, which sometimes confuses their meaning. While many computer applications, including typical word processors and spreadsheets, reside on a single person computer (PC) distributed applications, such as e-mail, inherently involve more than one computer that might be separated geographically. A protocol concept in computer-networking is a set of rules understood by the hardware or software of systems that intercommunicate. These rules govern precisely how information is represented for transfer purposes and how the communication activity is managed. What is Information Technology?
