Supply chain management is usually an important process in every organization since it ensures that organization products are created, accessed, and transported to customers successfully. Supply chain is of greatly important since it offers a company the activities that will be involved in designing, producing, using and the delivery of the goods and services to customers. Through supply chain, an organization plans on how the products will be manufactured, stored, transported and its reachability to the customers. It is normally the system of distribution and facilities, which acts purposes in obtaining the materials, transforming the materials into raw goods and transport the products to customers. The processes are usually carried out systematically where one stage leads to the next. There are different challenges that are faced through the process in each phase.

The diagram above is an illustration of supply chain management life cycle to ensure that an organization achieves its goals. From suppliers, the organization materials are achieved to facilitate the process of goods manufacturing. When the materials have arrived in the industry, they are manufactured into raw goods. The products are stored ready for transportation to retailers. When the products are reaches the retailers, customers are able to access them easily in order to give the feedback of the product to the organization.
