Vision

To create a center for imparting technical education of international standards and conducting research at the cutting edge of technology to meet the current and future challenges of technological development.

Critical analysis of vision

Established in 1963 as a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan, the Malaviya Regional Engineering College, jaipur. In 2002 Ministry for Human Resource Development and University Grants Commission, New Delhi which granted it the status of a National Institute of Technology due to the high standard and technical excellence. The Institute is a national center of technical knowledge with high standards in terms of infrastructure, internationally renowned faculty, and pedagogy of curriculum, laboratory with latest and highly equipped. Along with teaching and academic, the Institute gives top priority to the research and development projects sponsored by outside national and international agencies and organizations. Industrial consultancy is another significant area of activity of the Institute. The faculty members are engaged in research and consultancy projects. Research output of the faculty has increased significantly with some large number of papers having presented at various conferences and seminars and published in National and International Journals. Number of research increased significantly to meet the present and future technological demand to strive technical development of country (present of site).

Mission

To create technical manpower for meeting the current and future demands of industry. To reorganize education and research in close interaction with industry with emphasis on the development of leadership qualities in the young men and women entering the portals of the Institute with sensitivity to social development and eye for opportunities for growth in the international perspective.
