Landslide Limousines

The consultants at Allen and Atwood have developed a performance management plan recommended for Landslide Limousines. The following strategic plan aligns the performance management framework to the organization’s business strategy. The recommendations included are regarding organizational performance philosophy, job analysis process, methods used for measuring the employees’ skills, process for addressing skill gaps, and approach for delivering effective performance feedback. The purpose of this paper is to respond to the communication between Traci Goldeman and Mr. Stonefield requesting recommendations for a performance management framework appropriate for Landslide Limousines.

Organizational Performance Philosophy

The purpose of Landslide Limousines is to provide ground transportation to clients in and around Austin, Texas. To ensure the safety of passengers and outstanding delivery of service, we recommend a performance philosophy with distinctive and enduring principles to guide the organization’s employees. This performance philosophy will successfully direct acceptable behaviors across the organization. We strongly recommend company leaders to emphasize the importance of 'how’ the work is done when training new employees. Educating employees on an organizational philosophy that can be used consistently will guide employee decisions and daily actions when representing the company.

We recommend a performance philosophy that will distinguish Landslide Limousines from other organizations and set them apart from organizations with a similar purpose.
