Part II

Summary of Part I

The part one of the organizational plan requires planning, implementation and evaluation of the necessary steps to achieve the goal of improved communication in the organization. To formulate a successful communication plan there has to be specific project goals, objectives, and guidelines in the construction and maintenance of the communication plan. No one can expect a plan to succeed without an understanding of how people will be affected by the project and how there has to be an exchange of information. Information should be available when the project is first being formulated. The team needs to realize the information that has been obtained will help to determine the communication plan such as the message design and the media or channel sources used.

Part two of the plan will focus on the strategies to accomplish the goals of changing the communication process in the organization. It is typical for people to be afraid of change due to the unknown, therefore it is important for change to be in the culture of the organization. The change process will initiate the change structure of unfreezing, change and refreezing. To be successful with change top management must be involved and the team members are responsible to be the visionary, persuasive and consistent for the plan to be effective. The vision has to be translated to a realistic plan and how the plan will be carried out. The change will be carried out by a team-wide effort and communication concerning the plan will be carried out often and with all organization members.

Effectiveness of Organizational Change
