INTRODUCTION

Background of the Study

As technology grows fast, and almost all people in the world now uses internet connection, students of this research develops an automated web-based system aims to change the manual system process in borrowing of books in Pleasant Mount School.

Enterprise Digital Integrated Library Management System is an enterprise resource planning system for a library used by schools to record the books and the ones who borrow it, it is also used to track books using Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC). The system is design used by school staff most specially student and other authorized personnel at the library. It is regarded as the brain of any institute; the importance of library is for the growth of the institute and their esteem users (students).

Library project offers flexible and convenient features, allowing librarians and library users to maximize time and efficiency it gives all the detailed information about students, staff and books. It will track on how many books available in library and books issued to the students. Improving customer service through greater access and accurate information. Will increased the productivity and job satisfaction among staff members as it eliminates duplication of effort.
