Nowadays, information system is getting more important part in an organizations. It plays a big role in an organization in many ways. For example, it helps the organization as a resource for corporate strategic planning or provides base information for the marketing plan, sales plan, the distribution plan, the supply chain plan etc. Therefore it is also important for efficient internal and external communication, faster decision-making through elimination of communication lags, better implementation, monitoring and control. According to Davoren (n.d), to be successful in either large nor small leverage organizations, information system is assisted in making decisions by collecting data and processing it according to the needs of the analyst, manager or business owner.

Communication and sharing information in an organization is the essential point for an organization. When considering organizational structures it can be said that the common one is the functional organizational structures. A structure of this type groups individuals by specific functions performed. (Boundless, 2015). One of common departments is the human resource management. A human resource information system which is defined as a computer based application for assembling and processing data related to the human resource management function. It can be 4 different types. Upward communication is when the lower levels of an organization communicate with the upper levels of an organization. Downward communication which is the communication occurs from the upper levels of an organization down to the lower levels of the organization. A diagonal communication approach occurs when interdepartmental communication occurs with people at different levels of the organization. Horizontal communication occurs when people of the same level in an organization, for example, a marketing manager and a human resource manager, communicate usually to coordinate work between departments.
