Club IT, Part One

Club IT

Club IT is a nightclub owned by Lisa Tejada and Ruben Keys. The nightclub is about 6,000 square foot of space with a 600 square foot dance floor, seating for 220 customers, a bar with pour stations and a kitchen for appetizers. The music focuses for Club IT is hip hop, techno, electronica, MP3 and, live. Lisa and Ruben graduated on the year 2000 with a degree in Business Administration. Their dream was to open a nightclub. Both work as musicians during their college years. Lisa played the jazz violin and Ruben played the drums. Many organizations use information technology in a daily basis. IT is use every day to communicate, do business, shop, and learn. This research paper will discuss the Club IT’s mission and primary clientele as well as to provide strategies for competitive advantage.

Club IT’s mission and primary clientele

Club IT’s mission is “We, Ruben and Lisa, offer you live music, DJ’s, dance space and refreshments that suit your life style. You are our friends, and we seek to build a community that meets regularly at Club IT.” The music that Club IT provides attracts both young and middle aged people because it offers hip hop, techno and other variety of music. The high ceiling and high energy lighting creates a fun and energy environment. It also offer’s open mike on the month of April, local bands on the month of January, world DJ’s on the month of February and more. Club IT sells merchandise such as shirts, baseball caps, shot glass and glass mug which, services clientele because not too many nightclubs offer this kind of service. It also provides appetizers and beverages and customers like that they can eat, drink, and dance all in one place.

Strategy for Comparative Advantage
