INRODUCTION

A. BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

In everyday of us in this world, no one of us think when this world going to be end. Maybe we are so busy in our own businesses. One of the examples of this is we,a s a student, we are busy in doing our assignments and projects that we need to pass to our subject teachers. And as a teacher, they are also busy doing their visual aids and writing a quizzes to give examination to their students.Or we can say that we are just not totally interested to it and we don’t have any ideas about this. We are not ready to abmit that in the pass few days we heard about the Mayan calendar. The believers said that the Mayan calendar will come to end, leading some that the world will be end also in this day.

But thus day passed there is nothing happened. All of us wake up today, rolled out of bed, grab our coffee and do what we wanted to do. Another day and the life still going.

B. STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

This study aims to determine the ideas and sides of every ordinary people about the endless researches and predictions about end of the world or apocalypse in our society.

Therefore, it seek to answer the following questions;

1. What about the end of the world?

2. What we are going to do or preparations that we can do when end of the world happen?

3. Does we know when end of the world will/might going to happen?

C.HYPOTHESIS

Anyone of us couldn’t say when does end of the world will happen. In different researches and predictions of every people that wants to know it, still there is nobody can testify when end of the world will be happen. But, the desires of every people to know when it happen also still expanding and progressing in differentparts of the world.

D.SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

The result of the study will benefit the following;
