Ethics refer to the principles of right and wrong that individuals, acting as free moral agents, use to make choice to guides their behaviors. Ethical issues in information systems have been given new urgency by the rise of the internet and electronic commerce. Internet and digital firm technologies make it easier than ever assemble, integrate, and distribute information.

Ethical issues long preceded information technology. Information technology has heightened ethical concerns taxed existing social arrangements, and made some laws obsolete or severely crippled. Information technologies and system have also created new opportunities for criminal behavior and mischief. Advances in data storage techniques and rapidly declining storage costs have been responsible for the multiplying databases on individuals-employees, customers, and potential customers maintained by private and public organizations. These advances in data storage have made the routine violation of individual privacy both cheap and effective. Already, massive data storage system are cheap enough for regional and even local retailing to use in identifying customers.

In day to day life we are nothing without information technology. Internet is basic need for all nowadays we do online shopping, movies, recharge, online banking even for job such as online and related to information technology jobs, we are provide all our personal information through internet to companies from we are buying goods. This all our personal information is reveal by others and it could be quickly in public. Nowadays, hackers found very easy to hack into other computer or system with tools like the internet as long as the victim connected on the internet. They can easily use an internet protocol address to access a user’s computers and collect data for selfish reasons. The wide spreads of cookies with the information from our computer.
