When Redmond Mineral away from a strategy emphasizing low costs and low prices and adopted a strategy based on unique products, how did its HRM practices need to change to support the new strategy?

(Noe et al., 2009) stated Roberts was surprised by what he learned. The company Redmond was selling it at rock bottom prices, based on one price. The company has table salt called Real Salt. Which it has not come out yet. (Noe et al., 2009) stated that low strategy Redmond kept cost down in any way it could, including pay structure below other workplace in the country.

(Noe et al., 2009) stated Roberts urged the managers to shift to strategy high lighting the distinctive features of the company’s salt. The company did a research on Ice Slicer road salt worked faster and at lower temperatures than ordinary white salt. (Noe et al., 2009) stated that marketing messages emphasizing these features would enable Redmond to begin charging a premium price and win most customers.

The company adopted Robert’s marketing strategy, he could move to the heart of his business ideas: empowering the organization’s people. His idea will help Redmond business. Order to make it happen, Robert’s convinced that high-performing company must give its people a say in how the company operates.
