Mission

"We, Ruben and Lisa, offer you live music, DJ's, dance space and refreshments that suit your lifestyle. You are our friends, and we seek to build a community that meets regularly at Club IT."

In order to achieve and maintain such a mission within the organization, the mission statement first has to be known and understood by all that are employed by Club IT. Therefore, the first step to getting all involved would be to make the mission statement the user name for the intra-company web access, and there passwords will be individually chosen.

By having a shorten version of the mission statement as the username for the intra-company website, the overall mission of the company will be fresh in the minds of all employees as a daily reminder of what Club IT’s leading focus is. An example would be “you are our friends” or “to build a community”.

A second recommendation or addition to the company’s model would be that of combining the upstream components with that of the downstream components. For Club IT this would mean taking the data from the production and combining it with the data from marketing and sales for example. By combining this data, we can find out what areas we need to market more towards, and what areas of the business we may need to phase out or focus less on.

A good example would be to compile information from the competitors as to what their going rates are on items such as food and beverages in order to be competitive in that area. Other ways of doing this would be to compile data across the board in regards to food and beverage vendors in order to make sure they are getting the best cost on goods.
