Firms exist to provide value to consumers. Customers are talking to one another at unprecedented rates. If you are offering bad service to one consumer, it will not be long before others get to know this. Thus, a marketer must devote resources in listening to market conversations. In addition, marketing, nowadays, must adopt a collaborative approach with the consumer rather than trying to dictate how consumers must behave. This is why studying consumer behavior is very important to marketers because it gives them a lot of extraordinary tools that allows them to manipulate and persuade customers.

On the other hand, transparency of marketing operations will also enhance consumer trust. If you are collecting personal information from the consumer, full disclosure is the way to go. You can enhance your profits by obsessing about serving your consumers well.

These marketing strategies are all what I’ve learned and proved in this article. It implies that consumers are the most important factor in a business. When consumers disappear, so does the company.

In the R&D aspect, innovations of customer-oriented products are also one factor of success. As earlier mentioned, giving importance to what consumers tell about your product - may it be negative or positive - is one way of improving your product making it more customer-oriented one.

Next thing is, a good leadership is also an important characteristic a manager must have. A company can achieve success with its people who are lead into the direct path, making them clear the objectives and goals of the organization and also making them important to the organization.
