Question1: If you were Bob, how would you recruit the needed employees?

1. Place want ad not only in the Cleveland newspaper, but also place in other newspaper which published at the cities near three job sites.

2. Put want ad at manpower recruiting website and university website.

3. Because each crew need one leader, so Bob need to indicate in the want ad that what the company need is person who has auto mechanics background and management ability to be the leader in survey crew. For instance, people who were major in auto mechanics in Bachelor's degree and also have degree of MBA.

Question2: Evaluate the Lake Mead campground manager’s suggestion that Bob recruit employees by placing a want ad in the Cleveland newspaper.

1. It is obviously insufficient that only put want ad in the Cleveland newspaper because other cities residents maybe not see the newspaper published in Cleveland.

2. Bob should find some other places to put want ad and describe the requirement.

Question3: What should the firm do if they are unable to recruit sufficient employees for the job?

1. Provide more benefits such as achievements reward and vocation.

2. Let the employees can have cheaper price to rent house and provide mileage allowance.

3. Increase the salary.

4. Adjust the work content. Like make the work schedule in turn with the other crew, not each surveyor needs to work outdoors and tolerate extreme heat whole day.
