The Difference of Chinese, American and England Higher Education System

With the deepening of globalization, international competitions are more and more keen. In order to cultivate more and more excellent talents to improve the competitive advantage and success in international competitions, many countries’ governments are paying close attention to build or improve better high education system. In fact, America is the most developed country in the world now and it also has a better higher education than any other countries, it is a freer model, which is like most of western counties. Therefore, many countries mimic American higher system in some portion including China. Because of globalization, the world becomes small and small, some countries have some similar systems. However, as for the higher education system, due to the different history, culture，background and so on, the higher education systems still have many differences between two countries which are from two different areas. Now I will contest the difference of higher education systems between China, England and America from college students lives.

First, as we know, helping students improve their skills which can help them live better or find better jobs in their future is the main purpose of higher education system. Therefore, choosing majors and classes is important for people in their college lives. As for the regime of major and classes, comparing China and England, in American higher education system, students have more freedom to choose their own classes including some required courses. American collages have many different kinds of causes from some different aspects; students can depend on their own hobbies, ability, energy, time and so on to make their own schedule.
