I believe the primary strategy of whole food market is product leadership. According to the core value of the company they are differentiating with their competitors by providing the highest quality and organic products.

The secondary WFM strategy is customer’s intimacy or market niche. The market that Whole Foods is going after with their product line is for those consumers who are looking for organic or natural foods. They only sell these types of items which allow them to focus on the needs and demands of this market group who lives healthy life style.
