There are many biological changes that take place in puberty in females and males. Puberty is an important change that children go through as they become adults. Puberty is not consider a child, but they are not consider adult’s either. These changes are effected physically, emotionally, socially, and cognitively. These changes include an increase in the shape of your body, your hormones and changes on how the brain functions. These changes that occur in your body also have to deal with your sexual interest, and also your maturity cognitively and socially.

The physical changes that effect’s the child in their hormonal change are effective in both male and females. In males there is a muscle growth, body and facial hair, and other male sex characteristics. The first sign of puberty in boys is the enlargement of the testes that is accompanied by changes in the texture and color of their facial hair. In females estrogens released by the ovaries cause the breasts, uterus, and vagina to mature and the body to take on feminine proportions...
