Topic: Physical beauty to inner beauty.

Statistically speaking girls are particularly more likely to be critical of herself before the age of thirteen, and one-quarter of older girls reported that they did not like or hated themselves in this time span. In contrast, only 14 percent of boys said they felt this way. This statistic was taken before the age of nine. Nine years old and children already are speaking negatively about themselves. What is it that we look at though, when deciding if we feel positively or negatively towards ourselves? Many people characterize the way they feel under two categories; Inner beauty and physical or outer beauty. There are many similarities and differences between these two, but in the following we are going to focus on two similarities and one difference. They are as follows: the first similarity is both are forms of identification. The second similarity is they are both things people have as insecurities. The common difference between the two that will be explained in the following is that inner beauty is actually an accurate representation of who a person is and physical beauty is not.

Whenever a person is described to you one automatically tends to describe someone by his or her physical traits. Similarly speaking if someone were to describe a person by their characteristics, or their personality, one could also decide with maybe a little bit of difficulty whom the person in question is. In order to defend this claim, imagine a scenario where someone is describing a person of a certain height, weight, ethnicity, along with a detailed description of his or her facial characteristics in order to catch a kidnapper. In most cases, although you may not be able to envision exactly who the person in question is, you can pretty much develop a pretty adequate fit.
