Force Field Analysis

When I was thinking of going to college to obtain a B.A. in Business management, I had to use a force field analysis. The following chart is the represents the Restraining and Driving forces of returning to school to receive my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management.

Challenges to Achieve my Bachelors Degree in Business Management |

Driving Forces | Restraining Forces |

Obtain a higher level of education. (5)Learn about business and Project Management. (7)Gaining new skills that can make me more successful in the career world. (9)Obtain higher income. (9)Management opportunities. (10)Improve my family’s wellbeing. (10) | Managing going to school full time with working a full time job. (7)Fear of running out of money/financial aid options. (4)Completing assignments on time. (7)Being able to securing a job in my new career field. (9)Making time for my family (8) |

The driving forces helped me determining whether it is viable to return to school at Rasmussen College as the driving forces averaged 8.3 while restraining forces averaged 7.

Research financial aid options if you are faced with the prospect money problems. Set a schedule for homework. Update your resume and search/research jobs that are in your career field. Plan time for only the family with a schedule and follow. Arrange homework time to fit in with family time.
