Environmental Risk Perception Paper

Introduction

The focus of global warming is not its existences, but is it related to a natural factor or if it’s because of human error. The controversy has sparked an unended argument as well as an abundance of research to solving the issues. Past research has provided the world with facts that show when there are high levels of carbon dioxide there are high temperature. However, Milankovitch Cycles suggests that during our ice ages that the earth was hotter than now. My argument is the earth contains about 70 percent of water. If for some chance the current path which the earth travels on was to change, where it is heated, the waters of the earth would release carbon dioxide and fossil record would support the findings. This would ask the question is that a warm earth causes carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. As research continues to move forward more evidence is coming to light that supports global warming is a risk, temperatures are rising and the levels of CO2 being produced into the atmosphere is increasing by the hour. This paper will examine both views about the environmental change by examining two articles. This paper will also examine the factors which are related to issue and the author will give her own perception of the subject.
