An Amazing Trip at Great Wall

Have you ever visited Great Wall? The Great Wall of China is one of the most famous historical megastructure that always attracts tourists to explore. While traveling in Beijing, I had a chance to visit Great Wall 5 years ago. I really had an amazing experience with enjoying a walk on the longest wall of the world, seeing the natural landscape, and discovering the glorious Chinese’s history.

In the first place, climbing the Great Wall was an unforgettable experience. It was very steep and slippery, so it was not easy for me to get to the highest point of the wall. However, I really enjoyed a hard hike and imagined about how difficult it would have been to build this wall. On my every step I could imagine all the sweat, tears, and blood of the soldiers who spilled to build this wall to protect their country. Climbing on the Great Wall was not as easy as I thought but I was really excited to overcome the tough challenge.

In the second place, I really enjoyed the beautiful view when I stood on the highest point of the wall. I could see the whole wall and it seemed to travel forever. I visited Great Wall in the fall, so the forests were changing color. They surrounded the wall and constituted a majestic magnificent breathtaking picture. I have never seen a gorgeous view like that, and I could not believe I could stand on the one of the greatest accomplishments of human beings.

Finally, the history of the wall really made me felt surprised as the tour guide told us about the amazing history and the structure of the wall. It was created during the Qin Shi Huang Dynasty and it was a part of the protecting of Chinese Empire. The wall is made of stone, brick, wood and other materials. Especially, the wall was built mostly by hands. I could not believe people just used their labor that can create a great work during that period.
