Conservation and Preservation

Conservation is about taking care of the environment and carefully managing it for the future. Whether it is about crops or animals, people are trying to conserve earth’s natural resources by themselves. Some are farmers, so they do their crops in different forms to stop soil erosion. Preservation is about the environment being left alone to recover by itself. It is an undisturbed area that needs to be away from all the human instability. The difference between the two is that conservation needs to have human activity around it in order for it to survive and preservation does not. I do believe that humans can harvest their own forest and we can use our own resources for the things that we need. We have come so far with everything else, such as bio-diesel cars. Leaving the national forests in their natural state is the best thing to do right now, especially for the future. They should not only be used for their natural resources, but for the beauty that they give America also. These forests are also home to many animals that help shape the land. The land is not only for humans, but animals as well and by messing with the forests we are taking their homes, there for gives them nowhere to go. In the video they talked about making roads, pipelines and drilling. That is no type of life for animals or for nature. All in all I think that if the environment has already been left alone, and then let it be in preservation.
