The Mara Salvatrucha originated in Los Angeles California usually called 13 because the letter M is the 13 in the aliphatic, and thought that the number 13 was a lucky number so they got the letter M from the 13 number which it represented luck to them. And was built by young and adults who emigrated from El Salvador. The Mara Salvatrucha is known as Ms-13 who originally became famous in Los Angeles because they became superstitious dangerous. However they are known most because they are the one’s that caused the most danger and commits crime. They traffic guns, weapons, guns, anything that is dangerous and expensive. One important weapon the ms-13 used to kill their victims is called a machete in Spanish because is a dangerous weapon from El Salvador that automatically kills the victimize. (gangs.org) This gang usually kills other rivalry gangs like Hispanics Latinos that keep spreading through the area and commit crime between them. But the Ms-13 is actually being in crimes like car jacking, theft, assault, rape, robberies, prostitution, and other crimes with civilian’s innocent people. While this gangs keep expanding the murder rate keeps increasing because more people are being killed and innocent people are suffering. Further the more this gangs usually came out in the night like in midnight and do their crimes at night to. In Los Angeles they threatened people to pay them if they want to be protected from their families and homes because they fear other gangs will come through and kill them. While people live in barrios the gangs come through there because that’s some place they can hide. The Ms-13 identify themselves with tattoos, that’s say the name of the gang or any signal of their gang. They also identify themselves with the type of clothing they wear, the graffiti they draw and write and the most important thing that no member of a gang can forget is their hand signal. (gangs.org)
