Marketing Audit

The following information provided within this document will be based on actual analysis gathered from ongoing experiences, I have endured alongside the Information Systems department at the company during my current tenure with the company. I will then identify all current and future issues that plague the company from a technical standpoint and how it will affect the company’s the performance along with how well it will compare to its competitor’s as well. Once those are identified, I will provide and thoroughly explain recommendations that will resolve these issues presented and how they will positively affect the company’s performance compared to its competitors within the television market going forward.

Throughout these past 2 years during my tenure with the company. I have come witness several problems that caused the stations to decline as the leader in news broadcasting. These issues has caused an improper development of service from the Information Systems department. This hinders the department’s ability to better serve its customers and fulfill its obligations of effective and efficient service to the customers inside and outside of company. While these issues remain at large, the company continues to ignore the fact that there is no official process as to which the Information Systems department at the company and the corporate headquarters can come to an agreement on how all projects are completed with documentation for future reference. Along with that the company also ignores the lack of control of its core network as a news station. The company continues to remain in the unknown about all systems that are currently active within the station today. I have personally participated in projects where the system I was responsible for upgrading and performing maintenance had little to no documentation on its existence or functionality.
