Executive Summary

Hamburger Haven Corporation has 20,000 stores located worldwide by 2002 and opened its first store in 1940. Hamburger Haven’s vision was to ‘serve fast, hot, good quality food at an affordable price in pleasant surroundings’. With all these stores in place there was one restaurant in the town of Windham, Ohio that was not performing well. The Windham location was not making profits which contributed to the decline in their brand image. The current problems at this location range from low performance, competition, healthy options, and insufficient marketing systems. These problems have lead to an overall decline in customers, sales and demand for meals offered at Hamburger Haven.

The following report addresses each of the problems identified at Hamburger Haven with some of its opportunities and objectives. Furthermore the situation is analysed to identify the factors that contribute to finding the key to a solution by analysing both internal and external weaknesses. Then the alternatives will be discusses in order to implement a proper system in place that will increase profits and performances. It is important to identify each alternative along with its pros and cons in order to make the best suited decision for Hamburger Haven. This will make it easier to make a final decision and to suggest this to the board.

Prior to the implementation of the suggested alternative it is best to hold a meeting with management and the board in order to speculate the decision being made. This meeting will allow them to understand the marketing efforts that they are trying to make in order to increase customers and sales. In addition, the implemented system will require assessment.
