Thank you for taking the time to read this correspondence on the update of construction of the shopping center project. We are currently halfway through our construction project but there are delays due to bad weather and concrete suppliers.

The first reason for delay is due to bad weather involving heavy rains. Also the forecast calls for more heavy rain but your project manager has taken the step of preparing for these events of working during the whole time that there is good weather and taking breaks when it rains. Overtime and weekend work are also being discussed in order to make up for the time delay if it’s great.

The reason for delay involves a labor dispute with the truck drivers of our concrete supplier. We already have half the concrete so the project will continue while our contingency plan of obtaining another supplier is underway.

There are always problems or unexpected occurrences that can come up in any project. We value your business and time greatly so we develop contingency plans in case problems arrive. You will be further updated as these plans come to fruition along the deadline of a week after this letter. If you have any questions or concerns don’t hesitate to contact me.
