Abstract

Having the skills to be able to solve any problem that a person may encounter throughout his or her life would be a great tool to have because life is full of trials and tribulation. Using the problem-solving 5 step solution process it can be applied to almost any situation where you first define the problem, identify the requirements that needs to be implemented, create a detail design of how the requirements will be implemented, implement the solution, and test the solution.

Course Project (Problem-Solving)

Problem-solving skills are something that is learned your not born with them as a child you begin to learn how to do things through trial and error and as you get older you take life experiences to apply them to situations to help solve any problem you may encounter.

To have problem-solving skills is a great tool to have because throughout the course of a person’s life there are going to be times when you’re going to encounter everyday life problems. For myself coming back to school was a very serious decision I made and along with working I’ve been forced with several challenges associated with my returning to school. Problem- solving is learned skill or behavior and it is a process to help you to solve a problem or achieve a goal. This is a process so it involves steps which the first step to any problem-solving matter requires a person to first identify what the problem is because like in the meet the expert they used an example of a persons car battery going dead resulting in them not being able to make it to class, and the question was what was the problem in this situation and my first reaction was the car battery but I later found out that the real problem was not the battery but it was not making it to class which makes a lot of sense.
