Introduction
Today e-businesses are emerging and technology is expanding rapidly. Organizations are becoming more prevalent to security, privacy, legal, and ethical issues leaving consumers doubting the in-put of personal information as trust worthy. These problems have to be addressed appropriately and organizations need to provide solutions. A company conducting business on the Internet must understand the potential liabilities when partnering with consumers globally. The author will explain how the ethical, legal, and regulatory issues may differ on a B2C site compared to a B2B site (Schneider, 2009).
The most popular way of conducting business today is through e-commerce. Technology has assisted both B2B and B2C the opportunity to buy and sell products and services on the web. Consumers are constantly browsing the web in search of the best products and deals and e-businesses have a responsibility to protect them. Any organization doing business have an obligation to protect and offer privacy policies and ethical procedures to all the customers.

Business-to-Business (B2B) primary function is the sharing of information mutually between all participants. In this case the ethics on a B2B site is of most importance. Without the confidence of customers the vendors look incompetent compromising the integrity of the relationship leaving consumers to look elsewhere for business. Trust is a key factor to the success of online businesses. Ethics in a B2B sector should be communicated to both consumer and employees about the requirements, rules and policies.
