“We Ruben and Lisa, offer live music, DJ’s, dance space and refreshment that suit your lifestyle. You are our friends, and we seek to build a community that meets regularly at the Club IT.”

“Club IT occupies about 6000 square feet of space and a 600 square foot dance floor, seating for 220, a kitchen for appetizers and short orders and a bar with pour stations.”

These statements are found presently on the Club IT website, clear, precise, and short. When I visited club IT last Friday evening it was an enjoyable evening with friends. We Learned new dance steps, made new friends, and rocked out with a band until closing. Mostly the clientele consisted of 21 and up with the majority of women in their 20”s, dressed casual but slightly upscale. Most of the men were in jeans, a few dressed to impress the ladies.

Looking online first, before coming to club IT we were not expecting the enjoyable evening that was before us based on the mission statement for the club. A mission statement oftentimes is a glimpse into the businesses core ideas and an invitation to join its world. Club ITs mission statement is a Clear and precise statement but should have a more informed description of warmth and depth for people to read and wonder.

As an example based on the information gathered on Friday night:

“Welcome friends, to club IT where you will find local and national bands live on stage every Friday and Saturday nights. With Professional DJ’s rock-in out Tuesdays thru Thursdays with hip hop, techno, Electronic and top 40’s music, the right sound with the right volume.
