In my opinion, Lipitor seems most plausible among the three products. The Lipitor website was extensive with all sorts of information ranging from what the medication can do to a question and answer section that was also informative. The Lipitor website also had the most convincing data. The data it includes are a range of results such as lowering cholesterol 29%-45% depending on the dose versus the Cholester Clear website only stating the product may lower cholesterol. Cholester Clear even states millions of Americans suffering from high cholesterol levels but does not include any data of those lowering their cholesterol while using this product. Whereas the Quaker Oats website included links with excellent information that is easy for anyone to understand. It simplified the details of heart disease, cholesterol, risk factors, and healthy foods. Yes, the Cholester Clear website includes testimonial data; however, testimonial data is not considered scientific. I would most likely pick Lipitor to help lower my cholesterol. I would chose Lipitor because it is a product that has been proven to lower cholesterol, as well as, if my pharmacy accepts their $4.00 co-pay card it would be a well spent co-pay. I wish the Cholester Clear ad contained more definite information about the product, patient outcomes after using it, and not depend so much on testimonials. Then the Quaker Oats website was informative with the different links, but I may have chosen their product as my first option if they were able to state data that included how quick it can decrease cholesterol. For example, Lipitor states data that says it can work as early as after using their product for two weeks.
