Web designer have a one of the most challenging jobs. They build the virtual highways that we all travel on when we log onto the Internet. Building a web page from the ground up can be a pretty hefty task but it is very possible with the right tools and guidance.” Designers can build Websites by using everything from powerful software like Adobe Dreamweaver and Panic's Coda to plain of Text Edit.” (Chartier 2011) In this essay I will speak on this topic to help someone or explain to another how it is possible for even the average person to build a website from scratch. It may seem like a very difficult task when you first begin to work on the project. It will take some time to get use to like anything else but, once you begin the work you will find it enjoyable.

The first step in creating a web page is always learning the language and by language I mean the symbols and special characters you will spend most of your time working with.” Like any programming language HTML has a structure and formatting functions called “tags”. (Coder, 2006) This is always the first thing I teach a begging Web Designer. Without these crucial first characters you will not be able to accomplish the goal or task at hand. I stress the importance of learning the web language so much I compare it to first learning your ABC's and your vowels. These are things you must learn first sense they are as essential to your success as a web designer.

The Second very important tool that I try to get all of my readers to obtain next is the Book “Web Design for Dummies" I consider this to be the next big step in the process almost like going from rolling over on your back to crawling.
