Communication Communication plays a major role in making decisions. In order to make decisions, it will involve other people and you have to be able to communicate with them in order to get the possible solution. For example, at work I did not bring our office tablecloth to a function. No one mentioned to bring it so I did not. I had to go back to the office and get the tablecloth. It was not communicated very well what items we needed to bring along. Communication is first because it is the main key to effective decision making. I believe in order to accomplish goals; you have to be able to communicate with your employees, co-workers, family members and other key players. Communication should be simple, to the point and easily understood.
Integrity I am always honest and up front with people. In a previous relationship, I would not hear from the person for a week or two. When asked what was going on his reply was “I was busy or I had a lot on my mind”. For me it is best to be honest with a person and not lead the other person into thinking something that is not. Integrity goes hand in hand with communication. In the workplace, you definitely have to be able to communicate well in order to be honest with people. It is all about how you speak to people and what tone is used. People want to see if you can be trusted and if you can offer the skills was stated. You have to be able to stand up for what is right. If not, individuals will use other individuals to get the position they desire.
Attitude I believe having the right attitude plays an important role in our daily lives as well as work and school. At my previous job, students’ attitudes were so bad...
