SUBJECT: The briefly introduction and message from new V.P.

I am glad to join Yellowtail as my new venture, and to have all of you as my teammates. Also, I appreciate that Mr. Boswell and Mr. Gunerson gave me the opportunity to join you. It is absolutely normal that some of you wonder my sudden appearance, thus allow me to briefly introduce myself. I have marketing background during my tenure at Sportscraft. During that period, my marine division had increased total sales by 70% in two years. I also worked as marketing director for Winter Sports Division, and assistant for Sportscraft’s president.

Our company currently faces an incurable lose, Mr. Gunerson, we need to suffer this transition together. I will do my best to catch up everything and help out anyone as soon as possible like Mr. Gunerson did before.

Now, we all know that entire boat industry is fight against the sales cut from the oil crisis and economic recession. We must to refine our market niches, resources, customer groups, and orientations. Moreover, the pressure from the government, the Boat Safety Act, and the Clean Air and Water Act must be solving as well. The Marketing department has the hard time to plan our show that is behind the schedule a bit. I will follow a discussion to the Boatyard Carpenters and Painters as they appear to be a union for the employees.

Currently, I have a preliminary strategic plan that interested in sailboats and inflatable boats for the niche market. I believe to partnership with Saggitarius Inc. will helps market Yellowtail to the industry, because the inflatable boat market has increased by 20% annually. I want our company be the one who primarily deals with sailboats and inflatable boats made for both public and private use customers.

In the long-term, I hope Yellowtail can be the prosperous and a front runner in the respective category of water...
