The Homosexual Agenda and its effects on society.

There has been a storm brewing in the country. A division between what is thought traditionally to be right and the idea of diversity that is tearing at the very fabric of that traditional value system. This idea is demanding tolerance for everyone. Which is in and of itself a very appealing idea however, in practice, it is leading to a tolerance for a special interest group while at the same time demonizing people who may disagree with such behavior. I chose this topic mainly because of my upbringing and the potential problems I can foresee with society and the global acceptance for some but not all. This topic concerns us all as a society, and this paper seeks to address the agenda and how its being pushed along with the possible ramifications it could have.

There was a program established to advance this idea of diversity and a plan laid out in the late 1980s. This was a six point plan set forth in a book called “After the Ball” the goal of which was to transform the beliefs of ordinary Americans with regard to homosexual behavior — in a decade-long time frame. The six-point agenda that they laid out was explicit:

1. "Talk about gays and gayness as loudly and as often as possible." Inundating the American people with this concept would de-sensitize otherwise staunch defenders of the traditional value system already in place and make them more receptive to diversity being viewed as “just another life style”.

2. "Portray gays as victims, not as aggressive challengers." This approach will bring about a guilt complex for people that hold to tradition. It will also foster the “help the underdog” concept seen as an American value that supersedes most other traditional values. This would help demonize those who would be seen as hurting the vulnerable underdogs.
