Project evaluation is a systematic and objective assessment of an ongoing or completed project. The aim is to determine the relevance and level of achievement of project objectives, development, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, and sustainability.

Strengths Of Relevant Project Plans And Project Management Activities Contribute To Project Success

When it comes to measuring the success of projects and learning from failed ones can make a big wallop on the outcome of a project. So when evaluating a project, it is highly important to make the project evaluation as honest and complete. The strengths of the Sneekaz.com project was the resource planning. Having to work with various shoe vendors played a key part of the Sneekaz.com project. Having established relationships with the vendors allowed Sneekaz.com to offer the elite of the elite pair of shoes to prospective shoe collectors. It also provided methods to enhance ideas of the project as well. The activities that contributed to the projects success were having constant communication with the vendors. Communication is one key factor, which has to be applied effectively throughout a project’s life cycle from the beginning until the end. But it is also a skill where there is always room for improvement. For example, the account management team would always CC the vendors when it comes to ideas or thinking about a certain shoe collection and the vendors would enjoy the interaction and would chime in with their feedback, which helped scope of the project with their idea suggestions.

As stated, learning from failed projects is a way to prevent possible failure in the future. In order to do that the team has placed their own past project experiences and incorporated those failed experiences into the Sneekaz.com project.
