Not everyone always agrees on everything. Some people are very stern in what they believe and some are open-minded to new ideas. Whether you are either one of these people, you will still have values and ideas that are important to you no matter what. One area that people may have different views and beliefs is in politics. At this time, there is a presidential election going on. Candidates from all parties are attempting to get people on their side in order to get their votes. Each of these candidates have their own individual views as well, and they want you to agree with them. Now personally, I have three issues that I truly care about. Those three issues are immigration, welfare, and education. These three issues may be important to someone else as well, but they may have different views about the issue. I am here to discuss the issues I care about, immigration, welfare and education, and tell you all the different stances you can take of the issues.

Immigration has existed for years now. In the year of 2010, there were 39.9 million foreign-born people in the United States, as stated on the Center for American Progress webpage (americanprogress.org). An immigrant is any person that comes from a foreign country and settles here in the United State, or another country foreign to them. Seeing how immigration is so big in our country, views from each presidential candidate vary, but are important. Each candidate in today’s ongoing presidential election has certain ideas as to how they want to deal with immigrants and immigration into the United States. Some may think immigration should be banned completely, but others feel differently. One top Democratic candidate, Hilary Clinton, voiced her ideas on immigration at the Democratic debate on March 9, 2016.
