1. The consumers in the modern World have become more health conscious. Fast Foods have a name for high fat nature and is often referred as ‘junk food’. Hence Mc Donald’s has higher risk of losing its customers who have become health conscious. Due to tremendous competition other stores are innovatively improving their appearance, quality of service and quickness of service to attract customers. Due to the traditional nature of Mc Donald’s renovation is a little bit of a hassle. The impact on Mc Donald’s will be that it would drive changes in food making systems and technologies.

2. Customer tastes vary regionally and demographically. Mc Donald’s being a traditionally run hamburger place needs to put in some variety of menu depending on regions and market structure. Hispanic dishes have to be introduced in regions where those demographics are more. Other competitive strategies include revamping of the stores to accommodate more drive through customers and introduction of better quality food to come out of the brand of junk food.

3. The biggest strength of Mc Donald’s is that it is an aged and trusted brand. With renovated features like Play Areas and economic menu ( Dollar Menu ) options it has grown as a middle class food chain. Future of Mc Donald’s lies in adapting aggressive marketing strategies to attract upscale class and being socially responsible by promoting world initiatives.

4. Heavy users include under 30 single males who rely mostly on fast food chains and have vibrant eating habits. These users often visit the store during lunch hours and work breaks. Heavy Users are alarmingly becoming health conscious and hence require low fat foods. Mc Donald’s should develop a menu to cater to this quick need.
