1. Deductive argument is one in which it is claimed that it is impossible for the premises to be true but the conclusion false. Thus, the conclusion follows necessarily from the premises and inferences. In this way, it is supposed to be a definitive proof of the truth of the claim. And Inductive argument is one in which the premises are supposed to support the conclusion in such a way that if the premises are true, it is improbable that the conclusion would be false. Thus, the conclusion follows probably from the premises and inferences.

2. If you are going to Spain you will need a passport, you are going to Spain.

Therefore, you will need a passport.

This is a Deductive because the statement it is though that the promises provide an argument of the truth of the conclusion. And the premise are intended to provide support for the conclusion that is so strong.

3. All crows which I have seen are black. I have seen a great many crows.

Therefore, all crows are black.

This is Inductive argument because it is thought that the premise provide reasons supporting the probable truth of the conclusion. And the promises are intended only to be so strong.

Rationality is a decision making and expected to lead to optimal results. It appears that decision is taken without such an elaborate process.
