Decision making processes are essential in today's working world. In order to compete in the innovative and technical businesses of today future managers must be able to make critical decisions. Decision making is a part of everyday human life. People all make varying importance decisions every day, thus the idea that decision making can be a rather difficult action may seem so strange and unbelievable. In this paper I will be discussing the kind of decision that Martha is facing and some of her challenges with her decision making process. I will also discuss recommendations for this company with facing this situation and also how to deal with a customer complaint in professional manner. Lastly we will go over what steps could be taken next to prevent this from happening again.

After Martha received the phone call and talked to her boss about the fertilizer she now realized that she has some major decisions to make. One of the decision making process she is going to have to use is ethics. She has used this product before and she did find dead birds in her yard. Ethics play a major role in the decision making process. You will have to go by your beliefs and values on the decision that you’re going to make. Another challenge that she is going to face is that she tried to communicate this with her boss, but it was a one way communication street being shown. Martha tried to voice her concern about the fertilizer but Mac just kept on trying to convince her that the product was fine. This will also play a huge factor is her decision making process. Lastly since Herb, the actual owner called her this will also come into factor. Martha is going to have to sit down and brainstorm about all issues regarding her decision to make.

Once all the facts are gather Martha is going to have to decide is if a probable job promotion is more important than revealing the company’s deadly fertilizer. She is going to have to think about the communication in this company and why...
