Abstract
Database Systems affect businesses around the United States more than we think it does. Databases ensure that the information saved can be accessed at a later time and proper backing up of files on another server will be protected too. Understanding how each database system works and its correlation to different businesses is important. This paper includes information on Rochester Gas and Electric’s database systems and how it is used on a day to day basis.
