Target

Target is one of the top leading organizations currently standing. Target has recently undergone an issue with employee morale which has prompted the company to make decisions to make changed that would boost the motivation and morale of the organization. The company recently saw a decline in employee attendance as well as morale which have boosted the company to take action. Target sought assistance from Social Workers in order to boost employee morale and also to increase the attendance of employees. By encouraging employees and providing them with all available resources provided by the company Target thought that it would increase the ability to have employees that not only would provide customer service skills needed to enhance the overall functioning and goals of the company, but to enhance the skills needed by employees to do their daily duties without restrictions.

The company hired the Social Workers with the intent to provide employees and management with the encouragement to provide consumers with quality products and services and to provide employees with skills needed as well as the morale and motivation to continue employment and provide quality customer service. Creating a positive, empowering, and motivational work environment for employees should be a goal of an organization. Within the Target Corporation employee motivation has decreased along with relationships. In this situation the company derived with the idea of Social Workers with hopes of improving company morale among employees while increasing company assets at the same time. This was a great idea as employees need to see that companies realize the importance of employees as well as the consumers. By increasing the morale and motivation among employees, Target has the possible ability to increase profit and revenue while ensuring that employees are happy and willing to continue employment with the company.
